Entering the Center: Parents are permitted to drop off at the Center entrance door or in the large Center lobby. Only staff and children are permitted to enter the classrooms. Parents, enrichment class teachers, and visitors may enter the building with prior arrangements and will be allowed limited access to the classrooms and children. All must be screened according to health guidelines.
Health Screening: Parents must take child’s temperature and answer health screening questions via our Tadpoles app. Children’s temperatures are also taken upon entering the building as a precaution.
Shoes: Children and staff must wipe shoes on our disinfecting floor mat upon entering the Center.
Face Coverings: Face coverings are no longer required as of March 7, 2022, DOH guidelines. Face coverings are optional according to specific situations or comfort levels
Hand Washing: This is nothing new to Les Enfants. Staff and children wash hands in the recommended manner as always – but even more often than before! All staff and children wash hands upon entering the Center and before leaving the Center as well as the many, many other required times throughout the day.
Storage: All children have a locker for their coats, jackets, and backpacks. All items must be brought home at the end of each day.
Professional sanitizing and monitoring have always been done regularly at Les Enfants by Sterile Space Infection Defense. This deep sanitizing service was performed prior to Les Enfants re-opening and is repeated yearly to protect the surface transmission of COVID as well as other viruses for more than one year.
